New site with user functionality |

Welcome to the new cgnj.org website! We have recently added the capability for composer members of the guild to create accounts and maintain a user profile. The system is still under development and will undergo further testing and finalization over the next 8 weeks.
The profiles are visible to all who visit this site and may contain media such as images, as well as documents. There is also a music player on each profile page where composers may upload samples of their work.
The new CGNJ WorksBase (still under development) is intended to be a future replacement of the legacy Database of Composers & Works. The WorksBase is integrated with the user profiles in such a way that all works added by a composer will also appear on the user's profile page.
The WorksBase will allow composers to list works, and for each work, the user may attach documents such as scores (in PDF, Sibelius, or Finale format) or images. Each entry in the WorksBase also has an integrated MP3 media player. This could be used to showcase a performance of the work. We have temporarily disabled the CGNJ Directory and will re-integrate this functionality sometime in the future if it is needed, based on member feedback. |
